The watch is not meant to be used in place of the police / sheriff’s department, but rather in conjunction with it. Who knows better what looks out of place than us? Please come and help us make our community safer for all of us.
Currently, our primary means of doing this is watching through drives in our community, walks around the neighborhood, and the videos from some many door cameras and house monitors. We’d like to start organizing this better to make it more effective as well as determining any areas that there is minimal coverage.
This is not meant to be seen spying on our neighbors. Privacy is very important to us.
